A unified solution with Apport

Superfos set out to strengthen its warehouse operations by replacing a legacy system that only supported basic functionality. As demands for speed, efficiency, and traceability increased, it became clear a more capable solution was needed.

Connecting production and warehouse with MES

To further optimize operations, Superfos implemented Apport MES, creating a digital link between the production floor and warehouse.

The system displays real-time production orders on screens in the factory, providing operators with clear task priorities. As production begins, the necessary raw material picks are automatically generated in the WMS. Once completed, retrieval jobs for finished goods are triggered—ensuring a continuous and synchronized flow of operations.

The tight integration between MES and WMS ensures that all warehouse tasks are based on live production data—reducing errors and eliminating departmental bottlenecks.
